Studying literature brought me in contact with many different views on life and I have always enjoyed reading books and attending courses on philosophy, religion, psychology and history. Ultimately, however, I realised that the brain alone and its accumulated knowledge cannot answer the important questions about living on earth – though they can take one a long way and continue to provide checks and balances.
